Adding Text Annotations
2PDF 3.0 introduces a Text annotation operation (-oper textannotation), enabling users to add text to converted files swiftly. This feature enhances document customization and interactivity.
File Loading from Excel
Users can now load source files listed in Excel spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX, or CSV), streamlining the conversion process and improving compatibility with Excel-based workflows.
CAD Drawing Improvements
The update focuses on enhancing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings (DWG, DXF) conversion. Notable additions include options like Display line weight and Fonts to bold, providing users with more control over drawing elements.
Additional features include:
- New Crop operation for page margins adjustment.
- Executing multiple command lines in one 2PDF session.
- Support for SVG format without additional software requirements.
- Conversion of password-protected XLS and XLSX files.
- Saving/loading 2PDF settings with Export and Import buttons.
- Loading custom settings using the -inipath switch.
- Setting post-processing actions with the -keepsf switch.
- Remove blank pages operation (-oper removeblankpages).
- Options for handling combined PDF/TIFF files with the same filename in the output folder.
- Reducing PDF file size containing bitmap images by rasterizing pages into JPEG format (-oper rasterize).
- Loading embedded ICC color profile when processing image files (-fls iccprofile).
- Enhanced handling of unknown attachments with new action settings.
