We are thrilled to announce the new major release of Print Conductor 8.0! The previous major update 7.0 was released in January 2020. Since then, we've been working hard, communicating with our great community, and updating the program with fixes and new useful features. Read on to catch all the details.
What's new in Print Conductor 8.0
Improved UI and redesigned Advanced Settings panel
We've renewed the program's Advanced Settings tab. It now has a new toolbar with abilities to export, import, and reset settings. We also added pop-up tooltips describing each setting. And we polished the interface in general. Buttons, menus, lists, and controls are new – we hope you like the new looks!
Print Word documents & Outlook files without additional software
Users of previous versions had to have Microsoft Word or OpenOffice/LibreOffice installed in order to batch print DOC, DOCX, RTF files with Print Conductor. And if you wanted to print EML or MSG Outlook message files, you had to have Outlook installed. Now you don't need any additional software!
Various features requested by customers
We carefully read your feature requests and many features eventually come to life. Based on your feedback, we added such abilities as: disabling printing of the same page more than once, setting different paper sources for different page ranges, reversing the order of files in the List of Documents, combining document and cover page in one print job, and more.
